Datta Kriya Yoga Classes

With the blessings of His Holiness Parama Pujya Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, Datta Kriya Yoga workshop will be conducted during Guru Purnima 2011 Celebrations in Dallas/Frisco, Texas from July 15th to 17th, 2011.

Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, renowned world over as Yoga Brahma, is a great saint in the sacred Dattatreya lineage, the founder of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, has rechristened Kriya Yoga by adopting, modifying and simplifying important techniques of various yoga methods for easy, quick and effective benefits to the mankind.

With infinite love for all of us, Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji introduced new Nadi Shudhi Vyayamas, Rasi Mudras and Pranayamas into Datta Kriya Yoga. Beginners and current practitioners alike are encouraged to attend this workshop. If you had taken Datta Kriya Yoga class in the past, you get benefited further from the new topics that will be covered in this workshop. This is a rare opportunity to attend Datta Kriya Yoga workshop in the presence of His Holiness Sri Swamiji.

Datta Kriya Yoga Schedule during Guru Purnima Celebrations.Below are the timings of the sessions. The sessions are scheduled such that you can still attend all of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji's programs.

Friday classes will be held at Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple and Saturday & Sunday classes will be held at Dr Pepper StarCenter at Frisco, TX.

If you are registering other members of your family, kindly specify their details too. Please note that there is no fee to attend this Datta Kriya Yoga workshop. Voluntary donations are welcome.

Useful Guidelines:

  • Participants should be 14 years or older.
  • All those who have not taken Kriya Yoga class before should especially be present on the first day.
  • Those who have taken Kriya Yoga before are also strongly suggested to be present on the first day.
  • Participants must bring a white 100% cotton cloth (6.5 foot by 3.5 foot) or may purchase at class for $5.
  • Participants would preferably wear white (or light) colored loose clothing of natural fabric.
  • Participants are advised to bring a 2 foot by 2 foot natural fiber mat or white cotton sheet and yoga mat to sit on.
  • Meals before class should be light and be finished preferably at least one hour before class so stomach is empty.
